Caring for the Whole Self

Who We Are: Whole Self Wellness, LLC, is owned and operated by Kate Sollitto, LCSW-C. She is a clinical social worker, board-approved social work supervisor, and certified children's yoga instructor. Kate spent over nine years providing therapy to children, adolescents, and their families in school-based and in-home settings in Baltimore City before transitioning to private practice. She created Whole Self Wellness, LLC, in order to reach more individuals and families on a virtual platform. Although she is trained in exposure and response prevention (ERP) and other evidence-based modalities, she recognizes that strict evidence-based curricula are not "one size fits all" and that more creative strategies are helpful for real-life issues. Kate specializes in OCD and other anxiety disorders, and executive functioning. Kate recognizes the importance of caring for one's whole self as it relates to mental health. Lizzy Blake, LCSW-C, has worked in a variety of settings and brings knowledge of those settings and systems into her work in therapy. She specializes in eating disorders, substance use disorders, and co-occurring disorders. She works best with clients who come with goals in mind. She tends to be goal driven and work best with people who feel motivated to do work in between sessions. She is trained in DBT, CBT, MI, person-centered and strengths based practices and uses a trauma-informed lens in her work. Tara Stack, LCSW-C, has worked in Baltimore City Schools as a school-based therapist for about 10 years. She works with adolescents and young adults on the unique challenges that come with those years of life. Her experience in schools helps both students and parents of school-aged children navigate mental health challenges as they present in the academic setting. She uses trauma-informed modalities and artistic and creative strategies to help clients learn more about who they are and how to cope effectively with life stressors.
